Homeland Park quality of life -am I missing something?

OK so You can expect to pay around $809 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Homeland Park sits at 969.4 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 6,944 people. Poverty rate is 24.5%, which is higher than I expected. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much affordable but now it's tough.
