Cost of living reality check -Homeland Park

I've been here for 20 years and The unemployment rate is 9.3%, which is concerning. Median household income is $38,079, which feels on the lower side for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned?

The good and bad of living in Homeland Park

Hey folks, It's a a small town city with about 6,944 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any help is appreciated. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
