What Horn Lake does better than anywhere else

Random thought, Just moved here 15 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Horn Lake sits at 113.7 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,622 people. The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Cold winters
- Poor road conditions
- Homelessness issues downtown
Worth the trade-offs? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
