Is Hot Springs Village still affordable?

OK so Homes are going for about $262,000 on average. The median home value here is around $262,000, which seems about average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.
