Working in Hot Springs Village -salaries realistic?
Alright, I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,167 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 16,509 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Used to live on the Eastside side, now on the Downtown side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

I've lived in Midtown for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The cost of living scene is tough
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Hope this helps!.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Highland area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
