Hey everyone, Just moved here 17 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Huntertown sits at 317.3 per 100K. The median home value here is around $255,800, which seems about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 9 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
