Why I chose Huntland over bigger cities
Hey everyone, I'm single, late 30s, and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 10.3%, which is around average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
