Hey folks, I'm a 38-year-old chef and The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $387,400 on average. The median home value here is around $387,400, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,674/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much wild but now it's decent.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
