The truth about Indianapolis — honest review
Been a Indianapolis resident for 5 years. Here's my honest take:
Pros:
- Friendly community
- Lots of outdoor activities
- Nice parks and trails
Cons:
- Traffic can be bad during rush hour
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 7/10. It's not perfect but I plan to stay long-term.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

For families, I'd recommend looking at Pine Grove. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.
