Hello, I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 7,882 people. You can expect to pay around $1,123 for rent here. The median home value here is around $295,600, which seems about average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Phoenix it's decent.

I've lived in Midtown for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- The walkability scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
