OK so My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What are your go-to spots? Cheers. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in real estate. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 11 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..
