The good and bad of living in Jersey City

Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $94,813 in Jersey City. You can expect to pay around $1,902 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider — Jersey City sits at 522.7 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Has anyone dealt with this? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much stable but now it's challenging.
