Is Jonesboro walkable?

Hello, I'm retired and Household incomes average around $52,559 in Jonesboro. Poverty rate is 16.1%, which is higher than I expected. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Bought a house here in 2023 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
