Rent vs buy in Keene -what makes sense?

Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 22,923, Keene is a small town. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in West for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- The community vibe scene is improving

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
