Working in Kent — salaries realistic?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Rent is about $1,833/month for a decent place. Median household income is $90,416, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here?

I've lived in Old Town for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The safety scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..
