Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $1,833/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

As a 6-year resident, here are some things about Kent that don't make it into the guides: 1. There are amazing hiking trails 20 min from downtown 2. Several hidden gem restaurants that rival big city food 3. The sunsets here are genuinely beautiful Give it a chance if you're considering it!
