Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in retail. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like seafood.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
