Cheapest neighborhoods in Kihei?

Alright, We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. The median home value here is around $871,600, which is pretty steep. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely pretty good and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Springfield) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The dating scene is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely underrated and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (North) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 14 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into running, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
