King City quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey, Been living here since 2021. Crime rate is something to consider -King City sits at 24.6 per 100K. Median household income is $66,728, which feels about average for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely challenging and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Eastside) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
