Is Kinnelon a good place to live?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $682,600 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 6 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to LA it's better than expected.
