Thinking about relocating to Lake Carmel from Atlanta

Been meaning to ask this. Been living here since 2019. Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $357,500 on average. The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,479/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 8,090 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
