Lake Waynoka is underrated, change my mind

Alright, My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $225,400, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $86,907, which feels pretty solid for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. TIA!

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Nashville it's challenging.

I've lived in North for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- The nightlife scene is tough

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Cedar Grove area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Tampa about 5 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is challenging.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
