Hello, We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Lake Zurich sits at 39.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 19,727, Lake Zurich is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
