Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,782/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Does this match your experience? TIA! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in East. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in tech. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
