How are the schools in Levelland?

So, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $126,200 on average. Household incomes average around $51,847 in Levelland. Median household income is $51,847, which feels on the lower side for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely solid and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Downtown) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much developing but now it's surprisingly good.
