How is Levelland for outdoor activities?
Random thought, I'm a college student here and With a population of 12,565, Levelland is a small town. Poverty rate is 11.2%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Levelland sits at 1,034.7 per 100K. Homes are going for about $126,200 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
