OK so With a population of 7,847, Lihue is a small town. The unemployment rate is 0.7%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
