Career opportunities in Lincroft, NJ

Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are The median home value here is around $719,000, which is pretty steep. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. You can expect to pay around $843 for rent here. Rent is about $843/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely challenging and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Uptown) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.
