Just moved to Linton, any tips?

First post here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 5 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
