Linton is underrated, change my mind

We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 18.4%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $791/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I overthinking...

Longtime lurker here, Been living here since 2015. It's a a small town city with about 5,153 people. Household incomes average around $41,968 in Linton. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
