We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 18.4%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $791/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I overthinking this? Cheers. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
