Best apartments in Los Alamitos under ?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I relocated for work and You can expect to pay around $2,273 for rent here. The median home value here is around $1,003,900, which is pretty steep. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Looking forward to hearing from you all. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely challenging and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
