Cheapest neighborhoods in Los Alamitos?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 11,784 people. Household incomes average around $98,539 in Los Alamitos. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Pittsburgh it's excellent.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely pretty good and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Downtown) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The walkability is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Fairview area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
