Is Loveland getting better or worse?

Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $453,100, which is pretty steep. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 3 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Hope this helps!.

I work in construction here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is tough. No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 7 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been here 9 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
