Best industries in Madison right now

OK so I'm originally from Miami and Crime rate is something to consider -Madison sits at 323.0 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is decent in most areas.
