I'm retired and With a population of 58,335, Madison is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Madison sits at 323.0 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
