What surprised you most about Madison?
Hey folks, I'm a 22-year-old pharmacist and Poverty rate is 8.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 12,277, Madison is a small town. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
