Curious what people think. I'm a 53-year-old electrician and Median household income is $58,441, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Manhattan sits at 813.0 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Is this normal for Manhattan?
