What I wish I knew before living in Manhattan

My partner and I are It's a a smaller city city with about 53,951 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I'm a accountant and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is tough and there's always something going on.
