Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $1,429 for rent here. Poverty rate is 6.6%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for Marion Oaks? Thanks in advance! Bought a house here in 2018 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The walkability is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
