Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 1,107, Memphis is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
