I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Springfield area are improving. Kids love it here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The walkability is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
