Is public transit usable in Merced?

Hey, I've been here for 6 years and It's a a smaller city city with about 89,766 people. With a population of 89,766, Merced is a smaller city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots?

I've lived in Riverside for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The food scene scene is average

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Used to live on the Springfield side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.
