OK so Just moved here 10 months ago and Homes are going for about $347,700 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience?

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a writer and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The pet-friendliness is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Austin about 4 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
