9 years in Milwaukee - my honest assessment

I grew up here, left for college, and came back 2 years ago. A friend just bought in Walker's Point for K and I'm not sure if that was smart. Downtown has improved dramatically since I first moved here. What's your experience been?

Great question. Here's my honest take after 10 years:

The good:

- Great food scene

- Friendly locals

- Nice downtown area

The not-so-good:

- Limited public transit

- Limited diversity in some areas

Public transit is {transit_feel} - you'll want a car.. I'd say for young professionals, Milwaukee is great. DM me if you want more details.
