Is it worth buying in Milwaukee?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $172,000, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $172,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider — Milwaukee sits at 1,332.5 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
