Job market in Milwaukee — what industries are hiring?
I'm in education and considering a move to Milwaukee, WI. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 3.8% which seems pretty good. But what does it actually look like on the ground?
Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Westside and Downtown are perfectly safe.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.

Don't sleep on Southside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Lakewood. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.
