Best apartments in Mint Hill under ?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Baltimore and Homes are going for about $386,900 on average. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,498/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Growing food scene
- Lots of new development
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Sprawl everywhere
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Far from major airports
Would love some local perspective. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. No regrets on my end..

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
