The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. With a population of 26,954, Mint Hill is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Mint Hill? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
