Moving to Mocksville with kids -good idea?

Hi all, I'm a 32-year-old real estate agent and The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 6,001, Mocksville is a small town. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What would you do?
